The vehicle had to let the team process captured imagery regardless of season or time of day. ## The Challenge Aerial data analysis demands a stable environment: a screen to review footage, power for the equipment, and a comfortable space even in cold weather or after dark. The client also needed to work with the engine off, without relying on idling to keep the electronics running. ## The Solution Protek outfitted a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as a complete, self-sufficient mobile workstation: - A 12V to 120V converter (Xantrex Freedom XC Pro) to power the screens and electronics directly on site - Dedicated AGM batteries, allowing the whole system to run with the engine off - A Xantrex control panel with custom circuits for the workstation, cargo lighting, and front and rear spotlights - Red ambient ceiling lighting, so the team can work at night without affecting their night vision - A work desk built for dual-monitor mounting, set up for real-time data analysis - A Webasto heater, keeping the space comfortable year-round - Custom drawers and storage for flight equipment and accessories - A rear ladder and roof rack for equipment access and transport ## The Result The client now has a complete, self-sufficient workstation on site at every job.
